Accurately locating buried utilities
The Leica Digicat xf-Series locators provide operators with additional 512 Hz and 640 Hz tracing modes, enabling operators to trace buried utilities over greater distances or to easily detect sewer – camera inspection systems. Additional features include Mode Lock – the locator starts in the last mode of operation Current Measurement when using the Leica Digitex xf signal transmitter and extended sonde depth.
With its automatic controls and additional tracing modes of 512 Hz and 640 Hz, the Leica Digicat 500i xf has been specifically designed to provide operators with a reliable solution to long distance tracing and the detection of camera – sewer inspection systems. Combined with its precise and reliable utility positioning, the Digicat 500i xf will trace buried utilities and sewer inspection systems with ease. The Leica Digitex 100t xf signal transmitter or the more powerful Digitex 300t xf will allow users to trace buried utilities easier than ever before.

The Leica Digicat 550i xf has the same functionality as the Digicat 500i xf, with the added benefit of depth estimation, when used in conjunction with the Leica Digitex 100t xf, Digitex 300t xf signal transmitters or Sonde with a compatible 8 kHz, 33 kHz, 512 Hz or 640 Hz output.

The Leica Digicat 600i xf has the same functionality as the Digicat 500i xf with the added benefit of onboard memory and Bluetooth® connectivity. The onboard memory records information of how the Digicat 600i xf is used; this can then be uploaded using LOGiCAT software via Bluetooth® connectivity and additional analysis can identify operator trends, training requirements and how the locator was used following a near miss or utility strike. The Digicat 600i xf can communicate with Android and Windows devices, PC, Laptop, GIS field controllers.

The Leica Digicat 750i xf has the same functionality as the Digicat 650i xf with the added benefit of fully integrated GPS positioning. GPS technology and data logging delivers increased data on where, when and how the locator has been used. The data files can be uploaded using LOGiCAT VU software via Bluetooth® connectivity and additional analysis can identify the position of use, site conditions, operator trends, training requirements and how the locator was used following a near miss or utility strike. The Digicat 750i xf can communicate with Apple, Android and Windows devices, PC, Laptop, GIS field controllers.
