Safe and fast location of underground utilities
The Leica Digicat i-Series locators make ground surveys a simple and speedy task increasing on site safety. Defaulting to power mode, maximum sensitivity ensures operators are protected against lethal electrical cables, whilst additional modes are used to detect other buried utilities.
With its automatic controls and combined Auto mode, the Leica Digicat 500i locator has been specifically designed to reduce human error during the location process. Combined with its precise and reliable utility positioning, the Digicat 500i will prevent damage to underground utilities during excavation projects.

The Leica Digicat 600i has the same functionality as the Digicat 500i with the added benefit of onboard memory and Bluetooth® connectivity. The onboard memory records information of how the Digicat 600i is used; this can then be uploaded using LOGiCAT software via Bluetooth® connectivity and additional analysis can identify operator trends, training requirements and how the locator was used following a near miss or utility strike. The Digicat 600i can communicate with Android and Windows devices, PC, Laptop, GIS field controllers.

The Leica Digicat 700i has the same functionality as the Digicat 600i with the added benefit of integrated GPS positioning. GPS technology and data logging delivers increased data on where, when and how the locator has been used. The data files can be uploaded using LOGiCAT VU software via Bluetooth® connectivity and additional analysis can identify the position of use, site conditions, operator trends, training requirements and how the locator was used following a near miss or utility strike. The Digicat 700i can communicate with Apple, Android and Windows devices, PC, Laptop, GIS field controllers.
